Scope and aims

The conference aims at bringing together new ideas, novel results, problems and prospects of nanoscale physics with special focus on novel functional materials for energy storage and conversation, quantum information and technology, as well as biological and medical applications of nanoscale physics. All these topics are the advanced areas of modern natural science and engineering, which are based on the use some of the nanoscale phenomena, such as quantum transport, nanothermoelectrics and nanoscale photovoltaics, quantum entanglement, quantum superposition and quantum tunneling, topological and interference effects for practical applications in emerging nanotechnologies.

This will be done by presenting series of lectures for the broad auditorium of young researchers (e.g. Master and PhD students, young postdocs and research associates), as well as senior scientists from developing countries working on different areas of condensed matter physics, material science, and statistical and chemical physics. Invited lecturers will be world-wide well-known experts on the above topics.
